There are several hotels that are close to the wedding venue. You can find everything from large hotels, to guest houses, and even camping.

Falls ihr auf die Ausfluege nach der Hochzeit mitkommen moechtet, dann empfiehlt es sich nach der Hochzeit in ein Hotel in der Naehe von Thomas Elternhaus zu wechseln. Here are three places that are close to the wedding venue. Please note that these are hotel choices for the wedding day. They are very close to the wedding venue. If you are thinking of staying for the events after the wedding (Friday and Saturday), it is adivisable to move after the wedding to hotels closer to Thomas’ town. See below for those hotels info (Hotels for after the wedding).
For those of you who are not German speakers (most of you!), please follow the instructions below to translate the hotel pages from German to the language of your choice.
- Nature Community: Just a 7 minute drive away from the wedding venue (or a 40 min. walk if you are feeling adventurous!), this is our first choice. A beautiful typical Bavarian guest house with as many as 90 rooms varying from simple communal rooms, to apartments or even suites with internal dining rooms and jacuzzi; and vegan breakfast! - Pension Reichenberger: A smaller, yet still quite convenient location being just a 3 min drive away from the wedding venue (or a lovely 20 min. stroll), this guest house is located in the middle of the Schönsee town, a pretty countryside typical Bavarian town, the closest to our wedding place. Follow this link.
- Gasthof Waldblick: The simplest option of the three, however the closest to the wedding venue being only a 12 minute walk away or 4 minutes driving. A simple, yet good choice as it only costs up to 35 Euros per night depending on your choice! Follow this link.

Don’t worry about driving after all those Bavarian beers or having to walk in the dark, there will be a taxi service available throughout the night which will take you home for a small fee.
Hotels for after the wedding
For those of you who wish to stay more days in Bavaria after the wedding, you should consider hotels in the Neunburg vorm Wald town (Thomas’s hometown) which will be our base before and after the wedding. Here are our preferred choices:
- Gasthaus Sporrer: This guest house is in the middle of Neunburg vorm Wald. It is four minutes away from my parent’s house by car and 15 minutes on foot. The online booking system doesn’t seem to work. Use their form to query availabilities. Find the form with this link. You can find their list of prices on this page, see the pdf ‘Preisliste_2018.pdf’. The top block contains special offers, which also include the dinner. You won’t need this. The second block contains the prices for various single (Einzelzimmer), double (Doppelzimmer), and triple (Dreibettzimmer) bedrooms. All prices are per night and per person (‘pro Person’). So if you are taking a ‘Wildkrauter’ double room for two for three nights (‘ab 3 Nachte’) then you would have to pay in total 34 Euros * 2 people * 3 nights = 204 Euros or 68 per night. Komfort double rooms come with a balcony and are good for people with allergies. The third block contains bigger rooms (‘Waldzauber’) with a little kitchen and balcony. There is even a family room for four people with two separate double beds rooms and a shared bath, kitchen, and balcony. All rooms come with breakfast and internet (‘WLAN’). Children until 2 are free. A baby bed is 5 Euros. An extra bed for children between 2 and 9 is 12 Euros per night (includes breakfast). A dog costs 5 Euros extra. You even can rent a garage for 4 Euros. Check in is from 2 pm and check out is until 11 am. You can pay in cash, EC, Mastercard, Maestro, and Visa.
